Overview
Perhaps pine could be described as the original minimalist furniture. So why bow to the nuances of modern minimalism, when pine has been ticking the boxes of finesse with functional since time began.
Finished with a hand wax layer, natural patina will personalise the pieces as time progresses. This beautiful chunky but charming range reminds us to embrace age and recognise the perfect in imperfection.
If any furniture crafted from natural materials can be described as an emerging trend, this Chunky Pine range certainly suits the movement. Living lighter on the land seems a fairly fresh concept, yet in theory, the longevity associated with hard working furniture has always been a clear advantage of pine.
Style savvy types will want to punctuate the pine with other naturally inspired interior concepts, such as bamboo flooring, hemp wall coverings and sisal floors. Warmer layerings beg for velvet or fur, popping when juxtaposed with rougher cork or other wooden decoration.
